Examination of the Government’s Enforcement of the NA’s Correction Request upon Approvement of FY2007 Final Accounts of Revenues and Expenditures

 The National Assembly had requested that the government should improve or correct 669 illegal and unfair cases under the governmental projects based on assessment of the government's performance upon approving FY 2007 final accounts of revenues, expenditures, fund and contingency spending. In order to obtain satisfactory outcome of the NA’s examination for final accounts and correction request, government's measures taken for the NA’s request should be checked thoroughly during review. Also, the NA ensures that results of the NA’s review of FY2007 should be reflected in the FY 2010 budget deliberation.

This report classifies the corrective actions needed by; each relevant committee, insufficiently performed items, and requested matters as well as systems to be improved.

NABO’s review on 669 cases in 2007 showed that there were 64 cases for insufficient performance which also had been requested in past formerly to be corrected in the FY 2005 & 2006 fiscal year.
