This report aims to provide information on Korea's public institutions and their current state, supporting the National Assembly's examination of public institutions. To this end, it provides a detailed analysis and summary of the management policies and key systems of Korea's public institutions, the status of institutions designated as public in 2025, and key types of institutions by characteristics, in three parts and eleven chapters.
In Part 1, a systematic overview is provided to promote general understanding of Korea's public institution management systems, outlining the significance of public institutions and the historical development of their management systems and key current management policies.
