The National Assembly Budget Office (NABO)  published a report, FY 2014 Final Accounts Analysis for Gender Sensitivity, to support the National Assembly with its review of the FY 2014 final accounts from the perspective of gender sensitivity. The report contains findings of analysis into final account reports for gender sensitivity (339 projects from 42 central government agencies costing KRW 22.6097 trillion) submitted to the National Assembly in the form of an appendix to the government's final account reports with respect to whether the performance targets for gender sensitivity were attained; gender equality was improved; and gender-sensitive projects were appropriate.
The report reviews the gender-sensitive budgeting system as well as individual projects to ensure that demands for corrections concerning gender sensitivity are adopted during the government's deliberation on final accounts.
The report analyzes 13 projects in which performance targets were not reached, eight projects in which insufficient efforts were made to improve gender equality, and three projects that required a gender-sensitive approach.

The report also proposes the following institutional improvements: constructing a management system to enhance business goal achievement, taking a macro-level approach to the gender-sensitive budgeting system to enhance gender equality, and gradually increasing the scope of target businesses to instill gender-sensitive approaches throughout national finance.
